THE GUIDE

The publication that collects everything learned and concluded in the project

Objective of the guide

The objective of the guide of good practices is to collect everything that is significant for the general objective of promoting Self-Management and Prevention in health, understanding health as a universal value that includes physical health, emotional and social.

This holistic approach to health is one of the key elements of the project, and it is the reason why adult education institutions are considered to have an especially important role to play in this area.

The adult education organisations involved in this project have a solid and long history strongly based on humanism, with values of inclusion and motivation that ultimately seek to improve the quality of life of people and contribute an important contribution to the development of more prosperous societies.

For this reason, this strategic association is ideal for combining the scientific aspects and practices gathered from the health field with the socio-emotional needs of the population, an aspect the partners have worked on through their activity and mission as an association.

The guide will include all the characteristics related to good practices and methodologies detected, including training options, content, pedagogical and teaching resources, materials, etc.

The participants selected by the partners will be educators, trainers and professionals from the adult education sector with experience in working with people over the age of 60.
