Corporation for Succor and Care of Elderly and Disabled – FRODIZO is a non-profit organization, established in the Patras’ area in 2009 with volunteers from the health and social care sector promoting rights and general support to elderly people, patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
Frodizo is a member of the Hellenic Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders and the Association of Social Entities “Solidarity Pillars – Kostis Stefanopoulos”.
Frodizo in Patras, having studied the special needs of the elderly and how dementia leads to the social isolation of patients as well as to the economic and psychosomatic exhaustion of family members has decided to take action.
Using the knowledge and experience of their members in these areas and their deep conviction that these individuals can live with dignity and good quality of life on a daily basis together with their loved ones, they have designed projects and programs for achieving this goal.
